Network meta-analysis services

All prices are custom to the service. Fees and timelines are set for each project once the question has been scoped and its feasibility checked, so the quote reflects the evidence that actually exists.

Meridian Research Consultancy designs and runs Bayesian and frequentist network meta-analyses for health, medical and exercise science research, from protocol to a manuscript that is ready for peer review.

A network meta-analysis stands or falls on choices made before any model is fitted: what counts as a node, whether the trials are similar enough to be compared indirectly, and how inconsistency will be judged. Those choices are argued in the protocol, not discovered in the output.

What we deliver

  • A protocol with node definitions and lumping rules fixed before the data are extracted
  • Systematic search, duplicate screening and extraction, and a network plot checked for geometry and connectivity
  • Bayesian and frequentist models, with fixed and random effects compared and priors reported
  • Transitivity assessed across the effect modifiers named in the protocol
  • Inconsistency checked with node-splitting and a design-by-treatment model
  • Treatment rankings (SUCRA or P-scores) reported alongside the effect estimates, never in place of them
  • Certainty of evidence with CINeMA or GRADE for network meta-analysis, and a manuscript reported to PRISMA-NMA

How a project runs

  1. Topic and protocol. The research question (PICO) is confirmed, feasibility is checked, and a publication-ready protocol is written and registered.
  2. Analysis and drafting. Systematic search, screening, data extraction and statistical analysis, including network meta-analysis or meta-regression, then the full manuscript.
  3. Review and refinement. You review the draft, and revisions continue without limit until it is ready for submission.
  4. Submission and peer review. Cover letter and submission support, then additional analyses and point-by-point responses to reviewers until a decision.

Scope and fees

Network meta-analysis, Bayesian or frequentist, is Tier 4. Tier 5 adds network meta-regression, adjusting for baseline risk and effect modifiers, with sensitivity analyses under different priors.
